A EP is usually between 10-25 minutes, where as a single is going to be less than 10 minutes. usually an EP only has 4-6 tracks on it also. as far as LP's go they are generally between 30 and 74 minutes long and usually a LP has 12-16 tracks. after that your talking about double disk albums.
